There are Four Audience and Objective Specific Streams of material, underpinned by common foundations and the above frameworks and they are as follows:

Leaders
If you are organising a Leadership or Channel Partner Conference or event, if you are a Learning and Development Professional or if you are a Leader seeking to Improve Your Business Or Team Performance then there may be areas we can work together in view of the following material I have put together specifically for leaders.

The Future Of Leadership

Given some of the doom and gloom in the press some might feel daunted about their Personal and Corporate Futures with so much New Technology Emerging, talk of Digital Transformation and Much Change Ahead.   I see the reality differently.  This is A Time Of Amazing Opportunity. Though we can’t control how things will play out, we can take proactive steps to keep aware of new developments as they emerge, to be bold in trying new things out and to design business environments that encourage the Human Creativity and Imagination that will lead to innovative uses for the new tools that will become available to us.

Audience, Objective & Title

This Material Is For Leaders (tailored to CEOs or department heads as appropriate) hungry to find ways to deliver improved business, department or Team Performance.

The working title of the material is:

’From Bosnian bus rides to escaping a cul de sac, how to thrive in our disrupted age’

Overview
This material includes personal stories that illustrate that how we do something can often be as important as what we do, that for any success we need to build an enthusiastic (customer, co-worker, manager, contact, community) fan base over time from whom volunteers will typically emerge to help us in different ways and that in any project we lead, we don’t need to do everything, we simply need to find and put the pieces carefully in place.
I cover the choices that we make in life and how they affect the context in which we operate as a leader and how the various roles of the business eco-system interplay and what that means for our responsibilities, obligations and success factors.
The material highlights how our own outlook and lenses not only shape how we see the world but that their consequences can shape how others see us.
I cover the challenges and opportunities ahead of us offered up by the convergence of so many new technologies and both encourage Leaders to embrace the changes and provide them with tangible frameworks and tools to navigate the multitude of projects and inevitable uncertainties along the way.
The material highlights the benefits to Leaders and their teams of drawing on the human spirit by embracing both right and left brain thinking and the power of confidence.
I introduce PPMCLeadership™️ as a Pragmatic Framework that Leaders can leverage as they seek to build an Outperforming Team and, depending on the length of the session, we are able to dive deep into the ideas within each framework area: People, Principles, Mechanics and Culture.
The material introduces the idea of The Natural Cycle Of Team Success™️and how that interplays with the objectives of Leaders and evolves towards a series of investments in their own development that each individual can make.
Sessions typically end with an overview reminder of key points covered and with an appropriate call to action for participants.
The material is richly illustrated with personal, business and sports stories and thought provoking ideas presented with photographs and or videos from around the world.
Entrepreneurs
If you are organising an Entrepreneurship or Channel Partner Conference or Event, or if you are an Entrepreneur seeking to improve your business or to build it towards a sale there may be areas we can work together in view of my experience and the material I have put together specifically for entrepreneurs to help in both leadership and what’s involved in selling a business.
CFOs
If you are a Meeting Planner Organising A CFO, Finance Professional or Channel Partner Conference or Event, or if you are a CFO Seeking To Improve Your Own Business Skills, The Performance Of Your Business Or The Chances Of Your Business Being Sold then there may be areas we can work together in view of my Experiences as a CFO and the material I have put together Specifically for CFOs.
Sales Executives
If you are organising a Sales Conference or Kick-Off or Channel Partner Conference or event, or if you are a Sales Leader seeking to improve your team’s performance there may be areas we can work together in view of my experience as a Business Leader and the material I have put together specifically for Sales Executives Selling To Business Leaders.
This material covers the business ecosystem that we in business operate in and what that means for sales professionals selling to business leaders. It includes discussion of the prevailing shareholder value culture and the importance of understanding both left and right brain thinking. They will be introduced to models including The Three Levels Of Endeavour™️, PPMCLeadership™️ and The Ten C’s of Individual Outperformance. ™️. There will be a variety of stories with underlying points centred on relevant skills. They will be taken through the recurrent ingredients of outperforming teams and encouraged to build virtual internal teams to support clients using the same methodology. They will be guided on appropriate communication and behavioural styles in dealing with C Level Executives and they will be encouraged to develop a curiosity mindset and to thoroughly prepare for their dealings with their business leader prospects. They will be encouraged to embrace the opportunities arising from The Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Events & Learning
Are you a Meeting Planner?
If you are looking to deliver return on investment for a corporate event or conference then my keynotes, talks and masterclasses can help provide attendees with pragmatic operational content and tools that they can take away and use in their roles and in so doing help you deliver that return on investment for your event.  My work is centred on delivering real commercial impact in an informative and engaging way. The specific attendees where I can add value would be CEOs, Entrepreneurs, CFOs, Senior Executives, Heads of Department and Sales Executives (those that are selling to Business Leaders).
Are you a Learning & Development Professional?
If you and your organisation are committed to developing your team then there are several functional roles in your organisation where there may a fit with my work. I run masterclasses that can range from 2 hours up to 2 reflective days in length.  All of my focus is on improvement to both the individual and the business and my work addresses both mindset and skills development. The specific roles in a Corporate Environment where I can add value are in working with CEOs, CFOs, Senior Executives, Heads of Department and Sales Executives (specifically those that are selling to Business Leaders).
How I Operate
I am careful about the opportunities I accept.  I’ll only work on assignments where I feel our values and objectives are aligned and where I am confident I can add value to your event or project.  I prepare well and from the outset I ask a lot of questions.
Overview Of My Material
My work is organised into four audience and objective specific streams as follows:
Real World Experience
The foundations of my material are varied and all play a part, including:
(From website)
My background
I’ve spent over 30 years working inside companies of all sizes, in all over 150 operating businesses around the world, so I am not a career speaker though that is what I do now alongside masterclasses and one on one sounding board sessions with C-Level Executives.
Channel
Do you run a partner organisation?

Your channel partners, and in turn your business, may benefit from one or both of two streams of material I’ve put together which I outline in the next two sections.  I understand the technology channel well having worked with distributors, systems integrators, resellers and vendors for most of my career.

How to build a business that others will want to buy.

Many channel partners are Entrepreneurial businesses that their founders are building with a view to an ultimate exit. This material will give them insights into how to build attractive businesses, into the ways businesses in the channel assess others for acquisition and into the typical processes and pitfalls of business sale transactions. This material could be a good fit for your partner conferences or to add business sessions to events showcasing your technology.
How to show your business leader prospects you know what you need to know, and how to know it.
If your ultimate end-user customers are business leads rather than technical leads, this material gives attendees a business leader perspective on selling to business leaders and is a way to enhance the sales capability of your channel.  This material is not traditional sales training, it’s a business leader perspective on what you need to know and how to sell to business leaders.
If you’re looking to run channel partner events, or to find ways to improve the capabilities of your channel, then let’s have a discussion.
Build A Healthier Customer Base
Choices shape where we find ourselves and our business.  We can’t control how the world sees us, our brand perception, we can only seek to influence it by the quality of our thinking and the choices we make in relation to how we act and how we communicate.  We can consciously choose to build a better business through proactive steps towards a customer base that best suits our business objectives.  This means at times extricating ourselves from customers that don’t serve us well and with care we can do this difficult task in ways that still preserve and even enhance a positive market perception of our brand.
Build A Healthier Customer Base
This segment covers an important strategy for improving businesses that find themselves operating as a one stop shop for an SME customer base.  This is a recurrent scenario in the marketplace and an arduous one for all involved.  The more we can find and centre our business on areas where we can offer small pockets of true value into larger customers, and away from spreading ourselves too thinly into more modest customers, the more likely we are to find organisations that have both a willingness and a capacity to pay for what we offer.
Culture
And we cover various ways culture can be established and reinforced.

The Cornerstone Principles In Outperformance

Many organisations have publicised cornerstones, expressed for example as a mission or vision statement, a strategy and core values. In practice these may at times be ignored by the leadership rendering them meaningless and ineffective.  This is a recurrent feature of underperforming businesses.

In contrast some outperforming teams don't explicitly state their cornerstones but they soon become apparent to all involved with the business.  In these cases the cornerstones are typically components of a clear picture in the mind of a talented leader, whose consistent behaviours speak volumes for the ambitions and desired behaviours and mindsets within the organisation.

In outperforming teams the tone at the top is pitch perfect and as a result everyone in the organisation knows where they stand.

There is great power in the clarity of cornerstones, explicitly stated or otherwise, and their consistent application by the senior leadership. In outperforming teams everyone knows the organisation's reason for existence, goals and desired behaviours.  Every decision can be measured up to these principles and it will be found that they have been consistently applied.

Moving To Move The Audience

Keeping the audience engaged is critical to successful outcomes. This light hearted video illustrates that Rob is far from being a static presenter. And yes, this video is speeded up!

Its All About People

Business is all about people.

Everyone counts.

This video contains a powerful message for all in the privileged position of leadership.

The Light Guide

Rob's material is carefully crafted to drive positive change, it is designed to be thought provoking, there's a serious underpinning.

But that doesn't mean we can't have a laugh along the way.

Is there any force more powerful to engage than humour?

It's Not Simply What We Do

We all sell during our day to day lives.  We sell ideas as leaders, colleagues, family members, friends, strangers and even to ourselves.

Selling is all about driving positive emotions, and it's not all about the destination as this video explains.

Business Acquisitions Involve Process

Acquiring a business is both an art and a process, it can often extend over a considerable period of time.

In this video Rob discussed some of the elements of process associated with a business acquisition transaction.
